Transparency

The West Virginia State Treasurer’s Office is dedicated to transparency, accountability, and modernization. It is our mission to be a trusted steward for West Virginia’s state bank and financial programs. Additionally, Treasury staff support several legislatively mandated boards.

The Board of Treasury Investments manages the state’s short-term operating funds. It is made up of a five-member Board of Directors, supported by a professional investment team.

The West Virginia College and Jumpstart Savings Programs Board of Trustees is made up of 11 members who oversee the SMART529 Education Savings Plan and the Jumpstart Savings Program.
